My name is Florent and I was born and raised in the Netherlands. I previously studied business & entrepreneurship in the Netherlands (lived for a while in London and New York) and started my career working in advertising at the advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather. After a couple of years, I decided to work in the family business, supporting healthcare projects all over the world.
Currently, I am mainly active at Delft Imaging, where we develop and implement innovative diagnostic solutions and artificial intelligence to tackle diseases like tuberculosis (TB) and diabetic retinopathy. With the company we are active in 40 countries and our innovations have helped to screen over 6 million people for TB.
Next to my work at Delft Imaging, I support as an advisor to our sister company Thirona. Thirona develops artificial intelligence solutions focusing on the analysis of thoracic CT scans (LungQ), chest X-rays (CAD4TB), and retinal images (RetCAD). I am also a director at Universal Delft, which – based in Ghana – provides after sales and service support to the projects of Delft Imaging
